Toyota gave us our first glimpse of the tiny iQ concept at the 2007 Frankfurt auto show last fall and follows it up in Geneva with the première of the production model that will go on sale at year’s end in Europe and Japan. The global giant wants to build 100,000 of the tiny cars annually, and European pricing will start at €10,000, or roughly $15,000.
At 117.3 inches long, this subcompact is not destined for North America, but the four-seater is designed to carry three adults and either a child or some luggage, depending on how the interior is configured. The trick is how far forward you move the front passenger seat. The iQ uses a version of the tried-and-true Yaris platform.
